Our Story

Born From Love and Experience

During COVID-19, I was working in healthcare - long hours, high stress, and complete dedication to caring for others. It was a demanding time, both physically and emotionally. But waiting for me at home were my three incredible dogs, who reminded me every day where my heart truly was.

Leaving them alone during those exhausting shifts never felt right. They deserved more than rushed walks and tired cuddles. Their joy, loyalty, and unconditional love became the turning point in my life. So I made a life-changing decision. I stepped away from my healthcare career and created a space where dogs receive the same level of care, patience, and attentiveness I once gave my patients - a place built entirely around their happiness, engagement, and wellbeing.

A Lifetime of Experience With Dogs

Dogs have always been part of my everyday life. I grew up in a household where dogs were never simply pets - they were understood, observed, and respected as individuals.
My mother bred Rottweilers and was also deeply involved in rescuing Greyhounds. Being surrounded by such different breeds meant learning early how vastly dogs can differ in temperament, sensitivity, confidence levels, energy, and social needs. This experience shaped the way I understand and work with dogs today.

Over the years, I’ve developed a deeply intuitive understanding of canine behaviour through constant hands-on experience. Dogs communicate continuously through posture, movement, facial expressions, eye contact, and energy. Recognising and interpreting these signals allows me to understand how each dog is feeling and how best to support them. Dogs are always communicating - often quietly. A subtle shift in stance, a change in movement, or a small behavioral cue can reveal comfort, curiosity, excitement, or the need for reassurance. This awareness allows me to maintain a calm, structured, and balanced social environment. Structure, Understanding & Individual Awareness. I pay close attention to social dynamics between dogs - how personalities mix, how play styles align, and how individual temperaments influence interactions. Some dogs are naturally social and energetic, while others build confidence at their own pace. There is no “one size fits all” approach. Every dog is understood as an individual. Their comfort levels, play style, and personality are always taken into account to ensure positive, confident interactions. Combined with my professional background in healthcare, I bring strong attention to detail, consistency, reliability, and structured care into every aspect of the daycare environment.

More Than Supervision At Cee’s Doggie Daycare
Dogs aren’t simply supervised. They are carefully observed, understood, and guided within a safe, structured, and engaging environment designed for active play, socialisation, and enrichment.
This is a space where dogs can burn energy, build confidence, develop social skills, and genuinely enjoy their day. Because a truly happy daycare experience isn’t just about activity, it's about dogs feeling comfortable, confident, and understood while having fun.
